The stool fire grate is a classic bowed fire grate with four legs and a raised front to stop fuel spilling forward. Please note: the size options of the stool grate refer to the classification of the fireplace, i.e a 16" stool fire grate only measures 14 3/4", this is so it fits into the 16" opening with some room for expansion when the grate is hot.
